Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Renewable & Low Carbon Fuel Strategy to lead the development and execution of integrated market strategies and commercial models for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), hydrogen, and other emerging lower carbon fuels. In this role, you’ll shape long-term portfolio direction, identify new revenue opportunities, and influence policy to support business growth in evolving energy markets.

You’ll collaborate across internal teams and engage external stakeholders to unlock new commercial opportunities, optimize portfolio performance, and strengthen the company’s leadership in delivering sustainable, lower carbon energy solutions. If you bring strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and a track record of navigating complex regulatory environments, this is an opportunity to drive meaningful business impact in a rapidly changing industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute strategies for renewable and low-carbon fuels to drive growth and market leadership.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities and optimize portfolio performance through innovative approaches.
  • Influence policy and regulatory outcomes by engaging with government, industry, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and build a high-performing team fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve long-term strategic objectives.
  • Represent the company externally through partnerships, industry forums, and thought leadership initiatives.

What it takes:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field, plus 10+ years of experience in business development or management within a regulated environment.
  • Proven expertise in commercial strategy, carbon markets, and regulatory frameworks, with experience in complex negotiations and market-based opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence policy and represent the organization externally.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
