Position Overview

You know the ins and outs of SAP like the back of your hand, allowing you to develop effective solutions for partners and troubleshoot issues promptly and efficiently. Your thorough analytical approach keeps your processes air-tight, even as you prioritize and juggle multiple requests at once. With your previous background in the utilities environment, you’d be a great fit for our temporary role of SAP Analyst – Industry Solutions for Utilities (ISU).

As part of the Customer Applications team within Information Systems (IS), you’ll provide functional and technical consulting to support internal business unit processes and related information technologies, including SAP ISU. You’ll also support project management, systems sustainment, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of our billing and device management processes and provide technical support.
  • Support troubleshooting of issues and provide assistance to end users for supported business units.
  • Collaborate with Customer Applications team members and the broader IS department to support projects and initiatives.

What it takes:

  • A degree or diploma in a related business area with a minimum of five years of recent and progressive work experience in SAP ISU billing and device management module, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in utility billing and meter management processes.
  • Great analytical skills for troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis when developing effective solutions and efficient processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a deadline-driven mentality and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • An excellent collaborator with solid communication skills who collaborates effectively to build relationships.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
