Position Overview

Not only do your computer skills resemble something closer to wizardry, but you magically apply your prowess to streamline and enhance software. Our workforce of employees rely on multiple SAP services and processes every day, and you know how to implement solutions and resolve pertinent issues without losing focus on the people your efforts impact.

If you can’t help but think that this role was made for you, then we want you to become our next SAP Analyst - HR. Joining our Information Systems (IS) department, you will provide support to all SAP related systems and processes leveraged by our Human Resources business unit.

This wouldn’t be your first time collaborating with your team members and other business units, and you’ve since become a master of balancing legal, regulatory, and business requirements as you plan process improvements. Your vision to see projects through from start to finish and to effectively engage partners every step of the way is what truly sets you apart.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze and assess business requests and determine options for implementation.
  • Conduct analytics, compile reports and recommend system or business process improvements.
  • Configure SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) to meet legal, regulatory, and business requirements and participate in workflow improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot functional and business related issues and resolve help desk incidents assigned to the team.
  • Resolve time and payroll issues, including system enhancements, in a timely manner.
  • Work with business leaders to prioritize and implement system changes in accordance with our system change management process.
  • Conduct SAP Support pack testing and year end/year begin activities. Expand the scope of support to more areas of HCM.
  • Recommend and implement solutions that leverage our existing technologies and considers IS strategy.

What it takes:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, plus at least five (5) years of recent experience.
  • Extensive working knowledge of SAP HCM, particularly Time Management and Payroll, and experience with integration between SAP modules and with other systems.
  • Excellent judgement and creative thinking skills in decision making situations.
  • A strong ability to redesign business processes and maintain system integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging partners, writing reports and presenting research conclusions.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
