Digital Marketing Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital analytics strategies using web analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to track and measure online marketing performance.
  • Collect data and analyze web traffic, conversions, sales, revenue, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) using web analytics tools and platforms.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of online marketing strategies, such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with external communications team to provide recommendations for strategic communications plans.
  • Work closely with media agency of record to understand analytics and performance of paid advertising.
  • Create and present reports and dashboards to communicate web and data analytics findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Perform customer analytics, such as segmentation, profiling, behaviour analysis, lifetime value analysis, churn analysis, etc., using data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Conduct A/B testing, multivariate testing, and optimization experiments to improve website design, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with other digital marketing team members and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of web analytics goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in web analytics and digital marketing.
  • Performs duties of a minor nature related to the above duties, which do not impact the rating of the job.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Three years’ recent and related experience with analytical and reporting tools and statistical modelling.
  • Experience with analytical and reporting tools, such as PowerBI and Google Analytics 4.
  • Experience with statistical modelling using Shiny, R, Q or Displayr, or SPSS
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and optimization experiments
  • Knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to deliver data-driven insights
  • Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative research skills in their work
  • Exceptional organizational skills: demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results under tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
