Position Overview

This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire multiple Program Specialists. You will support our Strategic Partnerships, Residential, or Program Operations groups by driving our conservation programs and nurturing customer-centric experiences. We want you to utilize your customer-centric vision to simplify the customer experience and leverage customer insights to improve the reach and satisfaction with our programs.

 

We've set ourselves apart with our 30BY30 commitment to reduce our customer's overall greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent by the year 2030, and we need your help to get there.

In this role, you will:

 

As our Residential Program Specialist, you will:
Location:  Surrey, BC

  • Build rapport with external and internal program partners and offer support as their industry expert. 
  • Initiate, plan and execute program changes to adapt to changing regulatory, policy and energy efficiency requirements.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to further advance market adoption of of energy efficiency measures in residential existing homes.
  • Work with key stakeholders and external stakeholders to stay informed on customer needs, pain points, opportunities and escalations.

 

As our Commercial & Industrial, Program Specialist, you will:
Location: Surrey or Kelowna, BC

  • Develop industry-leading energy efficiency programs to help commercial and industrial customers reduce their energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Become the master of our workflow processes, customer journey maps and software tools with an eye to simplifying the customer journey, easing the administrational operations, and increasing consistency with similar programs in other portfolios.
  • Work closely with Energy Solutions, Technical Solutions Managers, other internal and external stakeholders to stay informed on customer needs, pain points, opportunities and escalations.

 

As our Commercial Energy Specialist Program – Program Specialist, you will:  (this role is now filled)
Location: Surrey, BC

  • Manage and operate the Commercial Energy Specialist Program independently on a day to day basis
  • Facilitate and vet new applications to the Program and onboard new Energy Specialists
  • Establish proactive communication and maintenance of program, including taking on key development tasks
  • Develop and maintain program forecast numbers and coordinate year-end evaluation with EM&V team
  • Develop and manage the semi-annual Energy Specialists training workshops

  • Demonstrated customer service approach and relationship building skills with program stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
  • Ability to work independently and with partners in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
  • Confident analytical skills and able to confidently make decisions based on facts and data
  • A 'get it done right' and 'can do' perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.
