- Assist with benefits-related reporting, reconciliations, and audits to maintain data integrity and compliance.
What it takes:
- Certificate in Human Resources Management or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or equivalent education/experience.
- 2+ years of recent experience in benefits or HR-related roles.
- Experience with traditional and flexible benefit plans and multiple collective agreements.
- SAP platform knowledge is an asset.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills to maintain the timely completion of processes.
- A confident and effective verbal and written communicator with strong customer service skills and a focus on discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent organization skills and adaptability to learn and excel in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize competing requests and inquiries while maintaining day-to-day responsibilities.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
