Position Overview

You’re a results focused individual who provides effective technical support with a great attitude. Your approach focuses on organization, collaboration and communication to ensure the solutions you develop meet or exceed expectations. With your technical expertise and desire for great user experiences, you’re a great candidate for our Operations Process Lead position.


In this role, you’ll provide functional and technical internal consulting to support business unit processes and related information technologies, including our SAP and RFGen Applications. As part of the application support team within Information Systems (IS), you’ll offer support and leadership for project management, systems sustainment and issue resolution.

In year 1, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of and provide support for:
  • Measurement/ Meter Shop processes
  • Meter compliance
  • RFGen Applications
  • Support troubleshooting issues and provide end-user assistance to supported business units.
  • Provide configuration support for SAP to assist in the delivery of projects.

In year 2, you will:

  • Analyze business enhancement requests and develop solution options.
  • Recommend new innovative technology solutions to support the objectives of business units.
  • Collaborate with other teams within IS and the Company to support projects and initiatives.

What it takes:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related business area from a recognized program
  • A minimum of five years of recent technical support experience in SAP Logistics modules (PM, SD, MM) or SAP IS-U module, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will also be considered.
  • SAP Certification in Logistics or IS-U modules &/ or several years consulting experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with AMI including Meter Data Management Systems
  • Knowledge of Measurement Canada Act and Regulations pertaining to Gas and Electricity
  • An excellent collaborator with solid communications skills who works well with others.
  • An analytical individual with a skill for developing effective solutions and efficient processes.
  • A deadline-driven mentality with the organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects.
  • A forward-thinker who is solutions-oriented and customer-centric when working with various groups.
