This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire multiple Program Specialists. You will support our Residential, Commercial & Industrial, or Program Operations groups by driving our conservation programs and nurturing customer-centric experiences and maintaining strong relationships. We want you to utilize your customer-centric vision to simplify the customer experience and leverage customer insights to drive program participation forward.
In this role, you will:
As our Residential Program Specialist, you will:
- Build rapport with external and internal program partners and offer support as their industry expert.
- Initiate, plan and execute program changes to adapt to changing regulatory, policy and energy efficiency requirements.
- Lead the development of new program offerings from concept to implementation.
- Develop and implement a strategy to further advance market adoption of mechanical and building envelope design for residential new construction.
- Work with key stakeholders and project partners to implement integrated design facilitation training.
As our Commercial & Industrial Program Specialist, you will:
- Facilitate and deliver our commercial and industrial programs by developing a working knowledge of these programs, processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
- Deliver world-class customer service to all program stakeholders.
- Prepare business cases and reporting for new programs or modifications to existing programs including justification and cost-effectiveness analysis.
As our Program Operations Specialist, you will:
- Be laser-focused on the customer journey from initial application to timely and accurate payments of rebates.
- Identify barriers and bottlenecks and implement customer feedback to evolve our program processes.
- Collaborate with internal partners to craft bespoke solutions for our customers.
- Prepare business cases and reporting for new programs or modifications to existing programs including justification and cost-effectiveness analysis.
What it takes:
- A diploma in business, communications, energy management or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three (3) years of recent and related experience in program development.
- Project Management Professional or Certified Energy Manager designations would be an asset.
- Demonstrated customer service approach and relationship building skills with program stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
- Ability to work independently and with partners in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
- A ‘get it done right’ and ‘can do’ perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
