Position Overview

When it comes to financial analysis and ensuring financial data is accurate, nothing gets past you. Your incredible eye for detail and analytical skills means you can get to the bottom of variances like no other. But, what sets you apart is your interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage internal stakeholders in a variety of different areas of the business. It sounds like you are the ideal match for our Financial Accounting Clerk role.  

 

As part of our Finance department, you will contribute to our month-end close process, conduct accounts payable analysis, and reconcile various accounts for our Company and subsidiaries.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the department's goal of achieving a quicker and earlier monthly close process. 
  • Conduct accounts payable analysis and reconcile various accounts. 

What it takes:

  • A diploma in accounting or finance from a recognized accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Three years of experience working in an intermediate accounting role, including at least one year with an emphasis on financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills for handling several daily tasks driven by internal and external deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention-to-detail to mitigate errors and when conducting self-reviews. 
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
